Diagnosed in Feb of 2022 at 74 Psa of 80 w LN metastasis. I would have been 72 if it weren't for missed psa tests due to covid. My outlook would be a lot better too.

@stebro

Started getting concerned at 70 as PSA was 5 and rising. PSA at 12 now. Just had biopsy. I'm 73. Just starting to research treatments.

Welcome, @stebro. There are quite a few discussions about treatment decision making in the Prostate Cancer group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/prostate-cancer/). I can help you find specific topics if you like.

What treatments are you considering?

69. PSA doubled in two years to 5.4. Had radical prosectomy 3 weeks ago.

Diagnosed at 68. Interestingly, PSA was only 4.5 but had Gleason score average of 8. Had prostatectomy at 68, PSA started doubling, then had radiation at 69 for 40 sessions. PSA started doubling again, so went to hormone therapy. This kept testosterone at 0 and PSA undetectable. Recently stopped hormone therapy due to extreme fatigue but PSA is showing up again.

I am now 75, but first had undiagnosed PC at age 62. My brother had a prostatectomy at age 58.
He is now 86.
