biopsied years ago as "negative" seems to resurface in Winter....I know I should not keep removing it.

Yes, katiemac85.....treated with Mupirocin 2%....took 3 days....completely gone!! After dealing with this for years, all it took was this medication!!! Now just dealing with a polyp way up in the sinus....

Ahh that’s for a staph infection isn’t it? I had mine swabbed and no infection or bacteria etc was found so not sure would work for me

No, katiemac85....no infection.....its caused by dryness.....please have your Dr prescribe it for you...it works....just dab a little inside your nostrils.

I tried Bactroban which I believe is the same ointment. And no luck sadly x

katiemac85, I can only tell you that absolutely NOTHING has worked to remove the crustiness/scab like material over the past 7 years until the mupirocin 2%.....and the Dr.said she loves to prescribe this for the condition.

Thank you will try it. Did you also remove your scab a lot and maybe that caused the damage ? X
