What is a cause prohibitive provider?
I recently had an appointment with my pulmonologist, followed by a CT, and a radiology report. The reports seem like everything was fine, but I asked my pulmonologist two brief questions to clarify the results. Her staff told me to make an appointment. Having just paid over $1,000 on above medical expenses, I said I didn't know when I could come back in and pay for another office visit. Her response is attached.
Does anyone know what a cause prohibitive provider is? At first I thought she was being charitable and giving me results, but on second thought now I think she's being dismissive and not going to tell me anything.

Hi @brian93, I’m wondering if your doctor was using ‘speech to text’ and it translated what should have been Cost prohibitive to ‘cause prohibitive’. Meaning she is being mindful of your financial situation and not being dismissive?
Thanks for mentioning that. That crossed my mind too since " cause prohibitive" made no sense.
