What are you grateful for?
It’s that time of year again. About a year ago I started down the path of investigating some persistent issues. After a few twists and turns (but wait- there’s more 🤣😂) it included my PD diagnosis. I admit the PD one really set me back on my heels for a bit. It didn’t help that the brain fog or whatever is going on with my head is slowing what mental gymnastics I can still do. But it did slap me upside the head and made some demands.
So right now I am grateful.
It made me clarify what is important to me, what can I do, and what did I need to let go of.
I am grateful for the basics- I have shelter, sustenance, and medical care.
I am grateful for this community and the excellent information, advice, comradery, and humor shared by so many!
I am grateful for my friends and family- many of whom have issues much greater than mine, but still share their support, love and laughter.
I am grateful that I can still exercise- love warm water aerobics (and following Coach John Noel on FB). I have surprisingly regained a lot of range of motion, balance, and strength.
I am grateful that my meds seem to be working, and that has improved my quality of life.
I am so grateful for all the beauty of this world.
How about you???

I am grateful that God choose Kevin for me this late in life. His health difficulties are something we deal with together. His faith is strong and we believe in the promises found in God’s word. But things do get tough so we must pull together. And we do!
