What am I in for with epidural injections?
I have had back pain since childhood. Doctors have tried to get me in the pain clinic since my thirties but now the pain is unbearable and my rheumatologist says she can't do much more.My mother RIP did not do week with injections in her spine and she ended up with 3 surgeries.I am just wondering what i am in for. They are going to give me light sedation.

Do not do steroid injection. I got arachnoiditis from it. Medi they inject is toxic. It has a black box label. Drs don’t tell you
Epidural Spinal Injections are not FDA approved. I had a horrible experience, the doctor punctured my dura which is a lining of the spinal cord which gave me the worst spinal headache and I had to have an emergency blood patch to seal the hole. You couldn’t pay me enough money to ever go through another one not to mention the fact it wasn’t even successful. They are not worth the risk that is associated with them.
