Weird intermittent quick inhale/exhale at random intervals
It rarely happens more than once in any giver hour but has been going on for weeks. I researched respiratory illnesses but couldn't find anything. Anyone have a clue what this might be?

I’ve had this random
”hick” without the “up”, as someone described it, for several months . My doctor referred me to a gastroenterologist but neither had ever heard of this condition and neither thought it was anything to worry about. The thing I have in common with everyone on this site is that I was put to sleep for a procedure prior to having these intermittent hick ups.
Probaby benign and a bronchial spasm
For the past 1-2months I have had a problem similar to yours.Did you find a diagnosis, solution or any treatment?
I am a 68-year-old woman with a normal weight. For the past 1-2 months, I have been experiencing sudden, involuntary, unexpected short inhalations, resembling silent hiccups, occurring at random intervals—about 20-30 times a day. They are more frequent in the morning and at rest.
I have consulted a cardiologist, pulmonologist, and ENT specialist, but nothing significant was found. For several years, I have also had frequent throat clearing and, in the past, episodes of sleep apnea. This condition worries me, and I would like to ask you to describe your symptoms. Are they similar to mine? Did you find any explanation and treatment?Thank youin advance
I have the same feeling, but I dont know the reason for it
Hello, I have the same complaints. I have no previous surgeries or any other incidents. Have you had any developments in terms of diagnosis and treatment?
