Weird headaches for 3 days during my period. Anyone else?
Hello,
For a year and a half I have been suffering from three day headaches that occur during my period. Nothing helps. They’re mild, maybe a 3/10 and usually on the side of nose, in the sinus area. CT scans show nothing but clear sinuses. Sometimes these headaches are accompanied by light headed and dizziness.

I had the same thing and it was an atypical migraine. It got to the point that I could predict the day it would start with 100% accuracy. I thought it was sinusitis as well and saw an ENT at mayo. They said it was migraines and they see it all the time. A neurologist should be able to help you. Good luck!!

2 ReactionsMy sisters and I had the same problem. We were sent to John’s Hopkins and participated in a study on women with migraines during menses ( we had severe migraines), and after 3 days of hourly blood tests, it was determined that our levels of estrogen dropped very rapidly which triggered the migraines. We were told to never take birth control pills, as it could set us up to have blood clots.
