Waking up shivering

Quite frequently I wake up just shivering and it’s not the temperature in my room or my bedding or blankets it’s internal. I wonder if anyone else has had this sensation and if they were able to figure out why. Or I don’t even know if this is a concern, but it’s very uncomfortable and hopefully nothing health related.

This is possibly a sign of an endocrine problem or even of illness. You should seek medical assistance, get bloodwork done probably, and be assured. Right now, you're mystified, and maybe dreading the worst. If it were me, I'd run to the nearest health care center and let them know what is happening.

Thank you so much for the reply. I think you’re right I should just go in and get blood work just in case it is an illness. I am on so many medication that possibly that could be a side effect, but I haven’t found that to be true while googling the different side effects of the meds
