Waiting for the Numbers...June 2026
Hello folks, I am back with the data points from the last 6 weeks...
PSA: 0.26, testosterone is not back yet but I am confident it is below 1.
Xgeva was prescribed last visit but I declined until I talked with my dentist and had a DEXA scan; that scan showed: T score of 0.5 for lumbar L1-L4, 0.6, -1.8 for femoral neck and -0.5 for the left hip. So I have osteopenia, it looks like a bone strengthener is in the future but not right now. And def not Xgeva for me. On the 28 of May I had my 2nd Pet scan, this one with Pylarify, it showed significant reduction in activity of active metastaic disease compared to the Posluma scan 7 month ago. But I still have multiple avid nodes with the highest 2 SUVs coming in at 22.7 others at around 5.8, 5. 5.4, etc. No bone mets found. Multilevel degenerative changes throughout the spine.
The other ( and most important to me) is that if the PDP will approve Nubeqa I will start that next Wednesday. Not sorry to see the Zytiga and prednisone go away, the side effects were def ramping up after 4 month of taking them. On another good note:
after starting ADT (Orgovyx and Zytiga) my 60cc prostate has decreased in size enough that I quit taking Flomax last week and urinary issues are just what you would expect from a 72yo. Lol.
I asked about chemo, specifically Docetaxel and Pluvicto, the Dr said Pluvicto is in my future but not for a year or two. Ill take that with a grain of salt but am quite happy with where I am. I have lost 7 lbs while on ADT, just by not eating as much and working from dawn to dusk here on the property. Still glad that I skipped over surgery and radiation, not knowing I had PCa for the last ten years worked out good for me. Well, thats where I am today, again, I come here everyday to read the posts, I want to thank everyone for sharing their Pca experiences. Opinions, comments and advice are always welcome. Thanks for reading my post, I will be reading yours!
