Since the Covid-19 I have to wait for Mayo Clinic to open up for elective surgeries. I have a lot of pain. I know I have sent the reason why before. Just can hardly wait I have so much pain.
To all my friends at Mayo connect. Amanda Burnett encouraged me to get posts while I'm at surgery and the test on May 17, 18, and 19th. She said there might be some well wishes that I can read when I get home, so that would make me feel good. I am getting scared about coming home and seeing how my husband handles everything. He does a lot for me now, but I still do the laundry and take care of myself. He works full-time at home doing Cyber Security for Wells Fargo. We are going to be going to a class at Mayo that will help him find out how to take care of me. I don't know if you knew That I had to give up my very healthy 14 year old dog. I e-mailed the owner of where we boarded her when we were gone. She e-mailed me back and said, "Can we please have Lily we love her." I got to where I couldn't take care of her and she had became very anxious protecting me. She knew something was up. She has been with them now for over a month and doing great. Much better than here. She now owns her and took her to get groomed and going to take her to her Vet. They really do love her. They tell me she follows them all around and they always kept her in their office when she was boarded. Tells me she doing great. It has been hard on me. I miss her so much. They send me pictures so I can see she is very happy. I can't visit her yet, because it might confuse her, but maybe after I heal from the surgery enough to ride in a car. Sending my love to all. So go ahead and post if you feel like you want to. For those who pray, prayers would be great on the 9th and 11th of June. @lilypaws

@lioness I would love for you to put me on your prayer list. Thanks for the encouragement and I will keep looking up. I know all will be fine. Just have to keep my husband under control. He is so scared I'm going to get the Covid-19. I just tell him "Have faith."
@lioness You are so special to me. That was a long post! Jeanie
@lioness You are my saint. You have communicated with me the most. Some people don't know to put the @name in front of a post. I will be thinking of you doing my test and surgery. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
@lilypaws Ah thanks lilypaws . Im thinking of you also and hope your test go alright in the outcome. Monday will be the start of them Now since you said you have test on 17,18,and19 are these all in one place or do you have to travel to get them all done? Why cant they do them all the same day . Well whatever the reason you have to travel to other places Im guessing be safe in the process. You are on my prayer change which is in USA ,Peru and Belgium. So take care for now and keep posting when you can Best to you always.
@lioness I only have the tests on the 18th. We are just staying at Mayo those days. Love sent your way. Jeanie
Hi @lilypaws, I noticed that you have started posting again since your surgery earlier this month. Welcome back!
How are you doing? What does the timeline for recovery look like? Are you back home now?
Need back surgery. Live with pain. Pray I can stand it no surgery.
Does anyone have severe pain while sitting on the toilet seat? I have a padded seat which broke because it was only plastic fasteners. First it was wobbly, hard to sit on, slid around. Yesterday it broke completely at the plastic hinges. I nearly went on the floor. Seats didn't used to have plastic fasteners, at least I don't think they did. Woogie
@woogie, you'll notice that I moved your message to this discussion about waiting for back surgery. Like you, @lilypaws asked how to deal with the pain while waiting for surgery. I'm glad you didn't fall when the fasteners of the toilet seat broke.
