Visiting Rochester, MN in Oct: Are these locations walkable?
I am scheduled for appointments in October at several different locations and was wondering if they are all in the same basic location. Locations: Gonda Building, Charlton North (Methodist Campus), Hilton Building, Mayo Building. I am hoping that the shuttle from my hotel goes to all locations, unless they are all walkable. My hotel is about 5 blocks from the main Mayo Building. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Good questions, @jayhart. Here is a link to the downtown campus map of Mayo Clinic, Rochester: https://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/minnesota/campus-buildings-maps
For north to south, the buildings you need are all in a row:
Charlton North (Methodist Campus)
Gonda Building
Mayo Building
Hilton Building
Shuttle buses should be able to take you to or near each of the buildings. @cheyennepeterson from Concierge Services can tell you more. Or contact Concierge Services: https://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/minnesota/concierge-services
@roch @jlharsh and others here can offer further tips on get around or places to rest between appointments, favorite coffee, etc.
The Gonda and Mayo building are essentially attached. The other buildings are connected by the underground subway passages. Depending on your mobility abilities, this is walkable.
Have you downloaded the patient portal to your phone?

I will add one thing to Colleen's response. Once in one Mayo building downtown, if you're not mobile, you can ask Mayo employees at the entrance for a transporter/wheelchair. They can take you from one building to another.
If ever in doubt, just ask a Mayo employee at the entrance; they are there to help you.

5 Reactions@colleenyoung Thank you so much for this helpful information! Yes, I have downloaded the phone app, but haven't really used it yet since it's easier (at my age) to read the laptop screen! The info about the transport is also very helpful since I am recovering from an ankle reconstruction and want to limit any excessive walking. I will check out the attached maps.

2 Reactions@jayhart, I’ll just add some encouragement to what Colleen and Laurie have already shared. One thing I’ve found at Mayo is that they really do want to help you with what you need, so please don’t hesitate to ask—especially while you’re protecting that ankle. You don’t have to figure everything out ahead of time or navigate it all on your own.
I’m also like you in that I use the Mayo website from home whenever I can. I find it easy to navigate on a larger screen. The app can be handy when you’re there, but you certainly don’t have to rely on it to find your way around.
I hope your October visit goes smoothly and that your ankle continues to heal!
How are you feeling about your upcoming appointments? Will you be traveling alone?
