Posted by kcarberry @kcarberry, Apr 23, 2018

I will being visiting Arizona on a number of occasion over the next few months. While visiting, I would like to make an appoint to see a cardiologist. I have been dealing with issues over the last 7 years. high calcium score at a young age (doubled in 2 years) - blood pressure - cholesterol - heat rate - sugar level etc etc etc at the age of 43. Locally I have been to a couple of Doctors - one couldn't figure it out - one retired and another is "let's play it by ear. I have 4 kids and long family history of heart disease. I did ask for some recommendations from my local Doctor and they were not able to help.

Thank you

@kcarberry Welcome to mayo Clinic Connect. Will your stay in Arizona be Phoenix/Scottsdale area? If so, you can contact Mayo Clinic and request an appointment with a cardiologist.

Here is how to get in contact with them.

Patients can request their own appointments at Mayo Clinic by calling 480-301-8484. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain time. The clinic is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

All requests are subject to appointment availability within each department as well as the nature and urgency of the medical problem.

Be sure to have a copy of all your medical records. They will request these records in advance. This way they can go over your medical history, and direct you to one Dr who can handle your all your issues.

I wish you the best...
Jackie

@kcarberry- I was at the AZ Mayo all day today for Cardiology issues and I saw an excellent Cardiologist named Dr. J. J Lynch. Have also heard good things about Dr. Kelley D. Kennedy. Great place! Excellent care! @thankful.
