Venetian blind effect related to vision

Has anyone experienced seeing venetian blind vision where you see light & dark horizontal slats? Mentioned to my ophthalmologist but no response since experience doesn’t happen often. What do you think?

I have had this for years. I have been told it is "The Migraine Aura". I have never had a headache with it, but when it occurs, I take a Tylenol immediately.
I also know someone who has it and does exactly the same thing. It also speeds up the cession of the flashing lights.
