Has anyone tried Venaflaxine for Fibromyalgia pain? I've been unable to tolerate Cymbalta or gabapentin.

They prescribed it for me regarding neuropathy (off label usage). but also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, tremors - from motor neuropathy, asthma, hypothyroidism and seizures. There are several things indicating why I should not going to take it but I have decided to try it anyway. We shall see picking up the prescription today. I will be truthful with you I personally do not like how antidepressants make me feel. It’s kinda a funny way in my head. I quit laughing and they totally alter my mind. Previously, on antidepressants and don’t remember nothing about those five years. They are lost to me and I don’t remember my son’s life from 1988-1993 so I am worried about trying them. I also have drug allergies to over 50 different medications. I will post how it goes.

I never heard of it. If it's an antidepressant I can't take it because I am not depressed and it just has terrible side effects.

The cardiologist and electrophysiologist told me not to take it. Effexor is the name brand instead of the generic above. It says do not take if you have seizures, hypothyroidism and some other medications the pharmacist would not allow me to pick up way too many contractions.

thank you, I just looked it up and it's a major anti-depressant so I definitely would not be able to tolerate it.
