Post surgery I was unable to leave the hospital 8 mos ago bc I was unable to walk down the hallway due to my pain. Unfortunately, the only drug that got me out of bed and out of the hospital was gabapentin. I hate being on this drug due to the side effects weight gain, with memory, unable to explain exactly what I want. I have an appt with the pain management team associated with the Clinical Trial I'm in. I'm hoping they will be able to help manage my pain better without increasing the gabapentin.

Hi Donna - I'm sorry to hear about your experience with pain. What Clinical Trial on you on?
I've been on Gabapentin for 8 months and have some of the symptoms you mention, especially the brain fog. I'm thinking about seeing a Pain Management specialist. Would love to know what they say after you visit with them.

I can do that for sure.
I still have more than a week before that appt and I'm attempting to move it to one of the days I already have scheduled appts.
Do you have still access to Pain Management after your surgery, or will you be accessing an indepent one?

The name of the trial is SOHO-02
It's a Phase 3 Trial
