vascular parkinsonism, neuropathy & strokes
George H. Bush had the rare disease known as Vascular Parkinsonism; Parkinson symptoms caused by vascular ischemic vessel disease (infarcts and small strokes) that damages parts of the brain & nervous system (cells).
1. Can Vascular Parkinsonism also cause autonomic neuropathy (e,g., small fiber neuropathy, orthostatic hypotension, heart rate irregularities)? I'd appreciate knowing about medical articles discussing this specific correlation.
2. To those of you who have been diagnosed with this rare disease, Vascular Parkinsonism, what HELPED YOU with symptoms, progression, treatment options.
Thank you.
