Vaginal Atrophy UTI Estrogen

I never heard of vaginal atrophy until diagnosed at age 67. What are your experiences with this condition? Is it quickly reversed? Prescribed Premarin vaginal cream to be applied daily or weekly as my symptoms require. Immediate improvement and wish I knew about this sooner. Now wondering how long I will need this treatment. Should I be concerned about any serious side effects? Also, have you heard of this eliminating recurring UTI?

No. But I know several women who used bhrt/hrt and had good results for UTIs.

I believe the vaginal cream will help UTI occurance and atrophy but it is only temporary. I'm not a medical person but it's my understanding the the vaginal cream is very safe.
