Using Azithromycin Daily

Posted by heffy82 @heffy82, Jan 1 9:11am

I have been using Azithromycin 250mg daily for over 2.5 years now and know some people use Azithromycin every other day. I tried taking it every other day and for some reason found I would still have some problems, so I went back to everyday. So, I'm curious to know if anyone else takes Azithromycin everyday.

I take azithromycin 3 times a week, with predisone. Sometimes upsets my stomach so I started taking mine at night. Sometimes upsets far so good

I have taken Azithromycin 250mg daily for years without any unpleasant issues. It is part of the Gold Standard in the care of COPD patients. Helps with the tightness and burning sensation in your chest with COPD concerns. It is a Standard of Care and Best Practice

@seren001 i have been taking it for 3 years with trelegy. I have had some minor issues with stomach nut not enough to say I’m don’t worth it. Probably the prednisone that upset my stomach especially after I got out of hospital

I take it daily, and have not had pneumonia since I started. It is worth it to me, having had to be hospitalized in 2024 4 times, much of it in ICU.
