Undiagnosed symptom: swollen eyelid

Dear all, I am attempting to find help online in hope to be pointed to the right direction because after visiting several doctors and specialists, my wife is not able to get help identifying the symptoms.

Since 2023, her left eyelid is swollen. The swelling is most pronounced in the morning, and then on a good day it may recede by evening. The intensity of the swelling varies from day to day.

Here I am posting image of her eyes in 2022 and then pictures of her eyes in 2023 and early 2024. The difference is stark.

We visited several doctors, generalist and specialists. They all dismissed her saying it's nothing. One said it may be related to thyroid but tests results were negative.

Thinking it was water retention, we cut down her carbs down to zero for a week or so without effect. We tried cutting down salt and do potassium supplements. Nothing changed. We tried hydration with lots of water intake, nothing. We tried elevating her pillows when sleeping, nothing there either.

We don't know where to turn ourselves to now.

She's a 41 year old female without any medical conditions, 174 cm, 64 kg.
