Undiagnosed health issue. Really need help!

Hi, I'm coming to this site because I'm at a point in my life where I need to figure out what's wrong with me. I can't keep living life like this as it's uncomfortable and constantly makes me feel on edge. So here is my story in hopes someone can help me.

Sept 2024 I had became pregnant with my 4th baby and unfortunately miscarried I believe not even a week after I got a positive. I went to the hospital to get my labs checked and they were showing hcg levels going down. I barely bleed and I got pregnant immediately after my miscarriage I'd say within two weeks I had another positive so I didn't believe it until I had more blood work and an ultrasound to show a new pregnancy. I was so excited because we wanted this pregnancy. After I had got my positive a week later I had woken up and had a cup of coffee just like I always did. I was on the phone with my husband and I was looking at the tv and instantly felt like I was going to pass out. I went back in my bedroom and laid in the room so scared I was going to pass out or something bad was happening. My husband drove me to the hospital were I had told them my symptoms and they had said my blood work was normal and all the test other than I had a uti. They sent me home with antibiotics and I got discharged. I came back again feeling the same way but this time nauseous but never threw up, I couldn't eat, I felt like I was constantly on edge going to faint. They told me I was dehydrated. My heart rate would increase but I don't know if that was from me being so worked up. They denied me fluids because of a shortage, which I understood. They gave me zofran and told me this shall pass after my first trimester that maybe it was just one of those things. After my first trimester the nausea went away completely but my lightheaded feelings come and go in episodes everyday. They blamed it on pregnancy but my other 3 pregnancy I had never had a single issues, but I know every pregnancy can be different. I was 136 and went down to 113. I went in and out the hospital ct scans, blood work, ekg, nothing all fine. Which I was thankful for ofcourse. I googled pots, and many different health issues that can come on with pregnancy. I took myself away from caffeine and sugar. I only drink water. I caused myself to fear certain foods thinking maybe they was causing my head issues since everything else was ok. I had given birth June 25th 2025 and I still have my head issues to this day 6 months postpartum. I've been to cardiologist - they did ultrasound on heart, heart monitor all fine. I've been to a neuro I'm fine, been to a ent all fine. I've been to a vertigo doctor all fine, I've been to 3 family doctors. I've had so many hospital trips. I had ct scan, clear. Bloodwork clear, thyroid clear, heart scan clear, heart monitor clear, mri clear other than a cyst or pituitary tumor the size of a pea which they're checking on but said that it wouldn't cause this. I'm lost. I don't know what to do anymore. I started buspar saying it could be anxiety but I woke up with this and it never went away other than I get relief. My head doesn't hurt so they don't think it's headaches. When I get this episodes they can last all day or for alittle while and ease up. My vision seems off not spinning, blurry, just seems off. I don't know how to explain it. My head feels spacey kinda like I'm intoxicated or high. It's like a fuzzy feeling it's uncomfortable. I just feel like I need to lay down. I don't pass out or anything. I don't have black outs or anything. I just feel like I'm on the way to pass out. It's uncomfortable and I don't
Know what could be causing it. If it happens at night with me already tired it makes it worse. I'm just trying to find out something. I don't want to feel alone or like I'm insane. I'm 25 and have 4 beautiful girls and I just want to be the best mom ever and be able to function 100% without wondering what's going to happen next. I'm currently 3 weeks in on 10mg of buspar to prove to these doctors it's not anxiety. Someone help please. Suggest a test or something! Thank you

Congratulations on your baby girl!

I got a lot of relief with talk therapy. I had health anxiety, among other things and the therapist helped me with learning to manage my fears and expectations about my health and medical conditions. Best wishes going forward.

@celia16 thank you! I talk with a therapist! It's very helpful but until I can figure out what is causing my head feelings I'll never be ok. Glad you found some relief.

Something Doenst sound right about your symptoms , I am so worry your Drs aren't understanding. Post partum can be filled with strange mental feelings and panic anxiety/, that being said it sounds like you are having a form of almost Dizziness maybe I have a dizziness now since about PASC and ME/csf and pots that has no head spin dizziness but all other symptoms are the same it's part of the Immune system for me being overactive . I'd see a specialist because with any luck it's just post partum. The worse parts could be PASC /Myalgic Enchephlimitis/Chronic Fatigue and or POTS etc the Immune system doesn't strange things with strange symptoms .

@bgpage thank you for your comment! It's been like this since the day I got pregnant and hasn't went away since I had her 6months ago. It's everyday! I feel like I'm intoxicated, I feel so groggy in my head it's a weird uncomfortable sensation I can't describe it. It makes me have a hard time doing daily task. I'm sorry you suffer also! What do you do to help?

I hope you can figure it out. I found that from my therapy, it was beneficial to accept medical advice and diagnosis and know that I had done due diligence. Anxiety was causing some of my symptoms. Treating that, resolved those symptoms.

Have you considered a physician in Functional Medicine?

Hi,
I'm so sorry that you are having such problems! That must be awful for you and I can tell by what you say that it is. It seems like your doctors are missing something regarding your situation. Perhaps you should research all the side effects of any medications you are taking and also any vitamins and supplements. My husband had lung cancer. I researched the side effects of his medications and supplements and often found symptoms that he had were caused by the medications and the doctor had missed them. Also read the ingredients of everything you are eating and drinking. Especially if it's pre-pared foods like frozen dinners. The junk they are putting in our food these days is very scary. Try and eat only natural things and drink a lot of water. Do you drink Gatorade? It's good for balancing your electrolytes which is important. I drink it and I'm 79. It makes me feel better when I'm not feeling like myself.

I would suggest that you ask God for help. He made you and he can fix you! He also gave you 4 beautiful little girls and I'm sure he wants you to be healthy so you can take care of them. I'll say a prayer for you also.
I wish you the best.

Hi! I'm so sorry that you're going through this, but congratulations on your girls! I will preface this with that I am 21 years old who has never been pregnant so I can't speak to that.
In September, I was in the ER with chest pain. Everything serious was ruled out and was told I likely was having muscle issues and stress (I know I hold my stress in those muscles, this is not new for me). They decided to have me follow up with cardiology just to rule anything else out, as I also have a high heart rate a lot of the time. I was on a Zio patch for 2 weeks, where they caught my HR at 200. On a normal day, I would spike to 160 just walking up my stairs. During this time, I started getting dizzy a lot of the time. I, like you, never passed out. But most of the time, I felt like my world was spinning. I also have noticed that my vision sometimes just feels "off" without a good explanation for what I'm experiencing. The cardiologist did an echo, stress test, and tilt table test. My echo and stress test looked good, but my HR jumped 49 beats per minute during the tilt table test. Anything over 30 is diagnostic of POTS - so I was diagnosed with POTS. Since then, they put me on a very small (12.5mg) dose of metoprolol, I wear compression socks up to my thighs every day, I drink at least 3L of water per day, usually closer to 4-5, and am supposed to be consuming 10g of salt per day (normal recommendations are 2g/day). I am also in physical therapy. I sit as much as I can and keep my feet propped up - standing still aggravates it. After 2 months of treating it, I am finally noticing that though my HR is still high, my dizziness is slowly getting less. On top of all of this, I have been experiencing pretty severe PMS symptoms that would wake me up in the middle of the night. After being told by multiple doctors it was all normal, I finally found an OBGYN who listened to me. He checked hormone levels and I had elevated prolactin. I am currently awaiting the results of a brain MRI to check for a pituitary tumor.
I know that is a long story, but reading your post, I felt like your symptoms were so similar to mine, between the high HR, dizziness, pituitary tumor, vision changes, etc. This journey has been very discouraging for me as well, so I very much understand where you are coming from not knowing what else to do. I would encourage you to advocate to check about POTS with a tilt table test. POTS is hard to get diagnosed with, hard to get under control, and requires lifelong treatment, but finally getting a diagnosis and starting treatment has already made me start to feel better! I hope that helps! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
