I know you and @nac1 @loribmt @monak were talking about Tyrvaya in the other discussion about dry eyes. I'm not sure if any of them have tried it yet.

Hi, @rexsan20 and @colleenyoung I’ve not personally used the Tyrvaya or know of anyone who has. My involvement was just doing the research for another member. Hopefully someone who has experience with the medication can pop in with some information.

I still am waiting to go to my appointment with a new eye doctor, and I will ask about the drops. What HAS helped is the night ointment you suggested!

I have been using it about two months and it is very helpful. I finally got it approved by my Rx provider, Express Scripts. Cost went from $585. to $70. Per month.

Has Tyrvaya been prescribed for you?

I have used Tyrvaya about a year with great results. I was able to use only once a day after 7 or 8 months.

Hello David- I have just started the Tyrvaya spray--I am a bit concerned about all these chemicals going up my nose and sinuses and down my throat!!! Do you have lots of sneezing afterward? I'm afraid I am loosing most of the spray!! Also, still doesn't always function..... (sore eyes after cataract surgery)

I've been using Tyrvaya for approximately a year now, and I've experienced excellent outcomes. After about 4 or 6 months, I found that I could reduce my usage to just once a day, which is quite remarkable.

Sneezing is a given side effect in the directions.
Do not spray up your nose into your sinuses! There is a warming about that.
Spray to the side away from the center of the nasal cavity.
Did you get and read the directions? All this is explained on them.
I have been able to discontinue the use without dry eyes returning the past four months.
