Tymlos travel

I have an opened pen but generally keep in fridge anyway. We are traveling from 1) leg 1-hot climate to hot climate for 48 hours, then 2) cool climate to hot climate for 36 hours, then mild climate for a few days, then on a ship with a small cooler.
I bought the Dison digital cooler and tested it today on an old pen I had saved for this purpose (test). The cooler has the digital thermometer. So far it is holding the temperature for about 6 hours since the test started at about 36. Is this too cold? What can I do?
I can try to call Radius too, we leave in 2 days. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these travel devices and if 36 is too cold and I will wreck my pen. We are gone 3 weeks. Thanks

I’m about to start Tymlos too, and we travel a lot as well. Interested in hearing other’s experiences.
I did learn you can have your monthly injection pen mailed to a different location if needed.

36 degrees is ok. The manufacturer says that an unopened pen should be stored between 36-46 degrees. You just don't want it to freeze.

You could also open the cooler for a little bit to let the temperature go up a little, then close it again.

My pen is opened. The Dison comes with what it calls an emergency backup which is a bottle the same size as the gel pack. The bottle you just put ice water in it. I have been testing that since this morning and it seems to be holding steady at 53F. Am going to ask Radius if this is OK. Should be easy to refill with ice water in route. Going to test today how long it lasts at 53. Glad I got the Dison that has the push button temp on the cap.
