Tymlos side effects?
Hi all, love this group so helpful. I have been on low dose Tymlos 2 months moving up slowly. What have others experienced with regards to back pain? What kind of back pain are you experiencing? Thanks!

Hi,
Took my 3rd dose today, it gives me wicked lower back spasms. Have to stand or walk while holding a hot pack on it. Lasts about 10 minutes, but the pain makes me tired and it takes awhile, 45 min. to dissipate. Sigh, could be worse.
dustyskeleton My sympathies on your pain, but kudos on your attitude. It could indeed be worse, but some people would have given up experiencing what you have. Probably me among them.
I'm curious what dosage you're doing; perhaps going to fewer clicks would ease some of the pain and spasms? And then gradually increase it. Others seem to have had good - or at least not as bad - results with that approach.

After 6 weeks on Tymlos, I am just now experiencing lower back pain and stiffness, especially when I wake up in the morning and after sitting for a while. The pain goes away with ibuprofen. I will track my progress. So far the discomfort has been going on for five days.
I have been on Tymlos for 4 months now. I feel like as though it might be the cause of my depression. Can anyone relate...?

I started taking Tymlos five days ago. Contributing to already existing insomia, causing me to be very tired and somewhat depressed. Do these symptoms lift with time?

Sorry to hear it. I started with diarrhea and headaches but they went away after a month. However, the racing heartand back pains continue. So it’s a mixed bag, I’m afraid.
I’ve had many side effects, some of which have gone away, and some of which stay. The racing heart rate. I don’t love, but it’s the back pains that really bother me. I worry if it’s my kidneys or what exactly is happening there. It’s a horrible pain and hard to describe but it lost for at least 10 minutes after the injections. You have my sympathy.
