Triple negative breast cancer stage IV: Looking to connect

I also had TNBC, but early stage 2.
Did you have genetic testing? It is now indicated for all TNBC. I turned up the ATM gene and that helped to inform my treatment. I chose a double mastectomy and my chemo was taxol and carboplatin. I read that they now give some immunotherapy drugs during chemo now. I wanted the most aggressive treatments available.
I am doing ok and now 3 years after diagnosis. But, I hold my breath with every check up.

Hello thank you for the reply, I was originally dx 9 years ago with er pr+. In Aug it turned up in my spine with subtype changed to TNBC I’m currently on carpo/gemzar. Just scared all the time.

Hello, I have been dealing with TNBC stage 4 almost a year now. Last pet scan showed the tumor press my vocal cord . So I had vocal cord injections surgery last Friday. Currently I am on Trodelvy chemotherapy for near two months.

I had some Stage 4 treatments for TNBC since the cancer was Stage 3B. I was able to take an immunotherapy - Keytruda - for a year, approved for Stage 4, and I did a year of Xeloda, another oral chemo. There may be some clinical trials you could get on, too, maybe.

Is radiation for the spot a possibility? My oncologist says that even though I maxed out radiation, if they found a spot outside the breast/chest wall/lymph node area they could possibly do a concentrated radiation on just the spot. We were talking hypothetical liver, not spine, so may not be helpful. Much love, thinking of you.

I have breast cancer TNBC 4 stage. I was on Verzenio only 3 month but it did not working well,I have metastizes in my brain.After that I have molecular blood test that shoved that Piqrey will work with my situation.
I am at Morton plant hospital with Dr Pathel.

I am dealing with my 2nd reoccurrence of TNBC- this time it’s 3C…
