Anyone found their breathing was less efficient on trelogy?

Has anyone found their breathing was less efficient on trilogy? I have been on it for several months and see no real change in my breathing. I missed the daily dose one day and felt like I could actually take deeper breaths the next day. I am putting off taking it for a couple of days to see if I continue to breathe easier. I don’t seem to be as short of breath as usual too. I’m just curious.

I did not get much relief from Trilogy, and my pulmonologist changed me to Breztri.......much better results!

I cannot breath without my trelegy everyday. My copd is emphysema so the trelegy works for that.
Yours could be asthma based so it may not work on you.
You should see your dr for the right inhaler to help you.

Thanks for the reply. I see the Dr. next month and plan to ask him about others available.

Yes, I too notice the same thing. I breathe better without Trelegy.

I had to switch to Trelegy after my insurance denied Breztri. I have emphysema while I didn’t notice a big difference I had my first exacerbation in several years. Had to do my action plan. I will ask my pulmo if she thinks it might be related.

I've gone back and forth trying to decide if it helps or not. I read that it lowers my immune system and I seem to catch every little bug that comes along, so I stopped taking it. I got better, then worse, ended up resuming it. I hate meds but....

We are all different. To the extent folks are finding Trelegy (or another Rx) unhelpful, speak with your MD. There are other options and your provider may be able to get you a preauthorization to go back on an rx that worked better for you.

For ME, Trelegy works pretty well. Between it and the biologic (Dupixent) I started in November, I’ve had no exacerbations instead of the 1-6 I generally have had every year since 2000 (except none while hibernating either covid).
