treatment for breathlessness/lightheadedness with exertion?
I got Covid January 15, 2022 and have struggled with breathlessness after minimal exertion, exacerbated by warmer temps, ever since. I was hoping that I could return to hiking in the cooler temps. After a short hike, the breathlessness/lightedheadness returned, and had to quit. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using an inhailer or any meds to address this.

Yes I am. I use PMS-Fluticasone HFA 125MCG at night...am supposed to use it twice a day. I also have a Bricanyl Turbuhaler 0.5 MG which I use as needed. I am still breathless a lot but I was wheezing. These inhalers help with that. I also have coughed since Covid last Christmas....almost a year....with phlegm. I have a nasal inhaler pump APO-Fluticasone....it is supposed to help....but still cough so hard I throw up.
That sounds miserable. I'm glad the wheezing has been helped by the inhalers. I had the sort of coughing you describe, but am fortunate in that it has mostly ersolved. Thank you for being specific about the prescriptions you have been given and their relative effectiveness. I wish you well with your recovery.
