Treatment for Brachioradial pruritus
Greetings, I have this condition on the left forearm and note it is connected to the neck and compression, often due to bone loss/osteoporosis (which I have at 80). I wonder if the spine can be directly treated to ease the compression, perhaps with osteopathic or cranial sacral hands-on work.
Additionally, I have squamous cell spots going for surgery next week, and another first: hives/rash that began on the forearm but have spread body-wide. Am considering a steroid shot when I see the dermatologist on the 24th. Have never had one and am hypersensitive to drugs in general, but one has to weigh the risks and take the path that seems most likely to benefit. What a learning curve!
Ideas, experiences, advice all welcome.

How did the removal of the squamous cell spots go? How are you doing?
Kind of you to ask, Colleen. Squamous spots won’t be removed until mid-August but they are very minor (and we’re aggravated by the Rashid, which is still lingering but on its way out….the steroid shot was effective although the dermatologist never could identify a cause.
I will look more into the brachioradial issue more though….thank you.
