Traveling with formula

Posted by praying4miracle @praying4miracle, 1 day ago

Hi Everyone,
Not sure who to ask about this so giving the group a shot. I am traveling this summer and need to figure out how to transport my formula. Still cannot swallow so need to take it on the airplane. Will be gone for 17 days which means 51 11oz containers. The airlines allow it but suggest not checking it since rough luggage handling and potential breakage. That leaves carry on - any ideas how to transport port?

I have not traveled by air yet. But others have told me to carry on enough for 2 days with a Drs. note and ship the rest by UPS, FedX, or some other service to your destination. Don't check it because it will be treated like regular luggage and could suffer possible loss or damage.

Thanks for commenting. Going international so risk in shipping it since it can be stuck in customs for awhile. Will let the group know how it goes
