Traveling with Arikayce

Does anyone have any experience with sterilizing equipment for Arikayce when traveling? I will not have access to a stove.

There is information on other threads about traveling with a hot pot but this is what I did:
The hack for this one, depending how long you will be traveling, is to keep all your old cups
At the end of every four weeks, sterilize and store the old one in a clean plastic bag with the date.

It is perfectly fine to use them a few more times- I never tested more than 4xs extra. Depending on length of travel and how many you can stockpile, you can either discard or rinse in soapy water, dry and bring home to sterilize later.

For longer trips, I managed to arrange some kitchen access every few days- friend, family etc. and sterilize a few cups in one session ( keeping parts of each separate)

Ps my doctor did allow me to go down to 3xs per week for one trip which made things easier

Prior to traveling I bought a plug in appliance like what you might use for tea or coffee. It worked great for sterilizing everything needed to use the Arikayce equipment.(irene5)

Thank you irene5! Do you have the name of that appliance?

This is the plug in water boiler ,I bought from Amazon.750ml capacity. It works well for sterilization .

I have kept numerous full sets of the equipment that I've sterilized and kept in sterile baggies and just take them with me vs sterilizing 1 set when on the road.

I purchased a hot plate, collapsible bowls and a small pan. Works great and bowls fit inside pan for easy packing
