Trabeculectomy
I just had a trabeculectomy and the pressure in my right eye went from a dangerous 38 to 11! Overnight! My eye is sore and irritated but not painful. I’m just tired. Surgery done at Mayo Clinic Rochester.

Wow! Great results! Do you live near Mayo or travel there for surgery? I am wondering how surgical follow up care works if I travel for that surgery.
Well. That is an issue. I live in Rochester. Surgery was Monday, postoperative appointment was Tuesday. I go in again on Thursday for follow-up and then once a week for 8 weeks. It’s a commitment. There is another surgery that doesn’t require so much follow-up but I was concerned about side effects. Good luck.
