Thank you @scoop! That's the study I was in. I was glad to do it! Although unfortunately I failed treatment - converted to MAC-negative, reverted to positive, then had to discontinue at month 11, a month early, due to (mild) hearing loss (ototoxicity) and bronchospasm / lung inflammation presumed to be from the arikayce or placebo. Which one I was on is never released to me or my doctors, the double-blind is permanent.

@lvnl Thank you for telling us your experience.
Medical conditions can be so difficult and frustrating especially since many times we just don't have an answer.
As we know might work one person may not work for others. We then have to go back to the fact that "we are all different" and what might work for some does not work for others.

Thanks for participating in the study. I am sure your information and results along the way were and are important to the study and will add to helping in the quest for answers that the medical field needs to help all of us.
Barbara
