Do TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) treatments really work?
There is a family history of depression in my family and I suffered with it 3 times in my life. It took several different antidepressants and dosage changes to make a difference. Last year it seemed the medications weren't working at all anymore and I felt miserable. My therapist recommended TMS, Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation, which targets a part of the brain that deals with mood. Thankfully, Medicare helped make it affordable and after the series of them (30+)
I truly felt like my old self again. So thankful for this technology!

I was skeptical about TMS but after the series of treatments, it has greatly improved my mental well being so I recommend it for TRD.
