TKR Revision need surgeon who listens/ Jacksonville

Posted by achy71 @achy71, Jan 4 10:02am

I want to make an appt but hear dates may be backlogged and also dont know who to request. Has anyone had good luck with a tricky revision and had a surgeon with good bed side manners. My own surgeon refused to listen that I have tissue problems and have been in pain since my surgery 7 months ago. I have to travel 3.5 hours each way but its worth it to find competent doctors. Thoughts Please…

@achy71, you'll find everything you need to request an appointment at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville here:

You do not need to request a surgeon. Mayo Clinic specialists work as teams. No matter which TKR expert you are assigned to, you will have the benefit of a team approach and the collective knowledge of multiple specialists.

I believe that fellow members @roux1 @debbraw @user_ch3aef5aa may have knee replacement experience at Mayo in Jacksonville.

Don’t know how far this would be for you but he is an awesome surgeon. Just got out of the military last summer and did both a reverse total shoulder and a total knee replacement on me . He is awesome and listens, answers any and all questions, highly recommend him!
