Thanks: Just want to say thank you
Thanksgiving
All of us have various diseases or different variations of the same disease and/or different reactions or complications from a vast array of potential treatments or caring for others that do. But we all have at least one thing in common: we are here and we are fighting to stay alive, get better, and have a longer useful life. And for that we can all be thankful. Whatever your situation, your politics, or your religion, be thankful for what we do have. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi @loribmt
One day scrolling through my FB messages, I came across a posting from Mayo Clinic that caught my attention because it had information about the use of HU, I was diagnosed with Jack 2 Mutation 3 years ago and I have been taking HU since with positive results. I have been able to get good information from Mayo Clinic through the postings of many people with a condition like mine and it has been very helpful for me.
Thank you Mayo Clinic.

10 ReactionsGood morning, @jose10. What a lovely thing to say!! This is one of those really ‘feel good’ messages! So, on behalf of all the amazing members in Mayo Clinic Connect, my fellow mentors, monitors and our fearless leader, @colleenyoung, I send a heartfelt thank you! Please don’t hesitate to drop into any conversation, especially in the Blood Cancers & Disorders group where your experience with HU (hydroxyurea) for your blood condition may be so helpful to others.
May I ask what your diagnosis is? Do you have ET (essential thrombocythemia) or PV (polycythemia Vera)?
