Anyone with erectile dysfunction have success with Tadalafil? Other?

I have been taking 5mg Tadafil for erectile dysfunction. Sometimes it helps me get a good erection sometimes not. My partner is not always home and sometimes I try to masturbate my penis with sexual thoughts. Is this normal to masturbate without sexual activity??

Does anyone experience erectile dysfunction then takes 5mg of tadafil to get an erection did it work.? I take 5mg of Tadafil which seems to help get hard but 20mg works better for a full erection. The lady urologist suggested using a cock ring at the base of my penis to keep blood in my penis for vaginal penetration or masturbating my cock.

I cannot get hard and I have very little libido, although I still seem to enjoy viewing provocative pictures/videos(not pornography, Yuck!). My testosterone level is normal. At 78 I suppose this might be normal, but I would like to believe that there is something that can be done.

Could try a penis pump and or a cock ring at base of penis. Amazon sells all that stuff. I use a cock ring seems to work with tadsfil.
