T3b Prostate Cancer with Seminal Vesicle Invasion
I was wondering if anyone had the diagnosis of T3b Stage PCa and had a Prostectomy where Seminal Vesicle Invasion was found. What was the post op treatment, BCR, and prognosis? Thank you.

Dear Soli...Hope you are staying strong while going through this. It is hard to know the average time for biochemical recurrence. What is post surgery PSA. They look for PSA above 0.2ng/ml to call it Biochemical recurrence. They also look at the doubling time. Favorable if greater than 1 year. They may order PET CT/PSMA to see if there is spread which can show findings if PSA is greater than 0.5ng/ml. Doctors may recommend salvage radiation therapy and andogren deprivation therapy but first step will be check PSA post surgery.
Wish you all the best...

5 ReactionsJust saw this. Thanks @samadhi for your advice and best wishes. I learned a lot from these discussions that will help me with my first visit with my surgon tomorrow to discuss the final pathology result and next steps, including PSA testing schedule. I feel I am better prepared now to ask the right questions.
