Syphllis titers question

Hello!

I have a confusing question about syphllis.

My titers have always been 1:1 (after treatment) except for in May of 2022 where it was nonreactive. I was told I was “serofast”. Do you think this is a new infection? I don’t want to get another shot, the syphllis shot is very painful 😞
