Swollen Lymph Node (Neck) as a Result of Covid Virus

Posted by subvet @subvet, Aug 14, 2022

Hello, I had a mild case of covid-19 in May. The lymph node in my neck swelled and hasn't yet reduced in size. I rarely if ever have had swollen lymph nodes. My PC gave me an antibiotic which did not help. Has anyone else experienced this?

The lump in my neck appeared after Covid. It increased in size, didn’t hurt and got progressively harder. I went to my primary dr who immediately sent me for a CTScan. It was defined as a possible metastatic pathology. I then went to an ENT who did 4 needle biopsies. It was cancer. I am scheduled for a second surgery in July. I had a tumor in my tonsil that was removed and now need the residual removed and a lymph node dissection. IF YOU HAVE A LUMP IN YOUR NECK ASK THE dr FOR A CTSCAN REFERRAL. my cancer is HPV. I will always think the virus was triggered by Covid.

Yes and still neither side has gone down and I've been on antibiotics and steroids.
