Swelling or bumps in blood vessels following chemo regimen

Posted by katieliz @katieliz, Dec 30, 2025

Finished now with 12 rounds of Folfirinox. For a couple months now I’ve noticed small lumps in a couple places, along possibly lymph nodes, both sides of groin area, 3-4 small bumps on each side (just above where your legs meet your body) and then in my left leg, inner side of leg starting at kneecap, about 3 lumps going down an inch or two along inner leg. I don’t know whether to call these lumps, bumps or swelling. No pain or anything else. Showed the ones on my leg to my oncologist, she was not concerned, thought these could be varicose veins starting. Plan to show her the others at next appt, January 7.
Anyone experience this? Not blood clots as far as I know, very localized bumps. Nothing I googled seems to fit.

@katieliz, did you find out anything further at your appointment last week? Any explanation about the lumps or bumps you're seeing?
