Any book or info suggestions about sexual health after prostatectomy?

Posted by fiskadoro @fiskadoro, Oct 29, 2025

Hi,
I am almost to month 5 in my recovery, and able - with a penis pump and a couple of 5 mg tedafil pills - to get an erection that is firm enough for sex. My "care team" is telling me that it is early on, and time itself will be the biggest healer from here on out, but I want to be very proactive and approach this correctly. Can any recommend a book about recovering sexual health after a prostatectomy?

I am tired of wading through Youtube videos that offer nothing more than clickbait thumbnails or titles. Hopefully there is some book, blog, or specialist out there that can give me more than doing kegels and increasing my sexual activities. I am not expecting a magic bullet, but I want something that speaks to those who are ready to take X steps to recover their previous sexual health. Thanks!

If you can't find a print copy (which are going for stupid high prices on reseller marketplace) , you can find "Saving your sex life : a guide for men with prostate cancer by Mulhall, John" online on the Internet Database. All you have to do is set up an account (it's a legit site, so not a big deal to sign up, it's a repository of the books, music).
You can't download it, but it's readable on a laptop/tablet.
