Sudden fast pulse

Yesterday out of the blue my heartrate went into the high nineties, sometimes over 100. I know that isn’t very high, I have had worse. But this lasted longer than usual and left me feeling weak and shaky all day. I have high blood pressure and copd but neither are very serious at this time. I have a pacemaker that keeps my heartrate from going below 60, mostly.

Hi Ryman , Yes it may be more to it than just an increase in pulse, I would suggest calling your Cardiologist that monitors the Pacemaker and do a download just to make sure. I know when ever I had a concern or something unusual happen many times my doctors could just have me download to my bedside monitor and have it sent to them. That's one beauty of having a Pacemaker is we can get a history of what our Hearts are doing. Let me know If I can help further I had a pacemaker for about 10 years before my transplant and had many such questions for my doctors.
