My mum has warded because of stroke and mri scan shows left back head has small clot and during 1st week she seems ok.. but 2nd week qt ward she has reduced her appetite and always eant to sleep... and now have discharge from stroke last week and she seems to just mild stoke can walk without any stick at home just not as balance as before and right hand not enough strength .. at home always sleep on her bed whole day and just eat mouthful of rice she said no taste and no appetite. Is this normal or when will it be recover from fatigue and appetite? And also blood test shows some result is higher than nornal range and that is her ESR is 27mm/hr, white blood cell is 11.0(x10^9/L) and MCHC is 36g/dL but doc never mentioned why is this happening high result and no medication is use for this to reduce or whatsoever... anyone else advise on my few enquiries?

Strokes are tricky.
Mine was nearly seven years ago, and I'm still recovering.

Everything can take a while to stabilize. Appetite, metabolism, speech, balance, you name it.

For example, for months I couldn't lower my blood sugar and had to shoot insulin. Then all of a sudden, my blood sugar was too low.

Be patient.

She always want to sleep eg wake up 3o mins want to sleep already unlike last time... but she can walk like normal just not so stable... like 10% to 20% stroke only... blood sugar everything is control... I'm so afraid that will it be her life in danger that both fatigue and reduced appetite in place ? And also the blood test I mentioned what do u think is the reason ?

3strokes and each time white blood cells high but nothing related told about. Plenty of water is important to ensure she does not get dehydrated. I did loose smell even failed smell test but over time they came back. Hopeful, i did use a walker for about 8 weeks to make sure I did not fall getting up at night and walking outside for fresh air.
