Strange nerve issue starting in thigh and felt in foot
My wife has been having an issue with pain along the top of her foot. She says it feels like a knife. The thing about it is, it happens when she lightly touches the skin back of her thigh (the lateral posterior) near the vastus laterlis. She has had hydrodisection and steroids on the nerve in that area with no luck. Does anybody have any suggestions for next steps?

Have you tried a good chiropractor, I had same, mine was ruptured disc not found in time for months, in this it caused a pinched nerve. I built the lower core muscle up which took months but that pinched nerve is getting better every day. Hope this helps some.
Thank you. So the back was causing and issue where you touched your leg and felt it in your foot? I actually thought about disc issues, but don’t think it was likely.
