Stop smoking panic attacks.

Posted by littleonefmohio @littleonefmohio, Mar 28, 2018

I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have been trying to stop smoking again. I thought I was doing good, like I always do. I was wearing the smoking patch and have been on them for over 2 weeks. Yesterday I had a panic attack. This seems to happen every time I try and quit smoking which takes me right back to smoking. I thought for sure I would make it this time. Does anyone have any suggestion as to what to use to help me with these panic attacks while trying to quit? I was on Wellbutrin before and it help me to quit but a month hit of being on it and I started getting very mean and bad thoughts so had to get off of it. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

I did gain weight but, for me quilting, and needle felting were good, if you don’t pay attention it becomes blood sport. Lol . I still preferred a walk in the nicer weather.

The actual physical symptom only last less than a week. That being said, the stress of it could cause headaches for sure.
I am thinking about you, and wishing you success.

I can only tell you what I would try. Hot baths or showers, a hort walk a couple times a day. I also have this thing where I put my feet again the edge of a door and hang on the handle on both sides and lean back and stretch toward my feet with my head, thereby stretching my back and neck. I would also try and see my primary care doctor and ask for whatever help they can give me. Quitting is really stinking hard! Take all the help you can get.

@trellg132 - Good morning. You inhaled poisons for a while, it will take time for them to leave your system. I had all sorts of things that I didn't expect crop up. But, on the other hand, your breath is fresher, your clothes don't stink and you can breathe better! They count too, right?
