Dealing with stomach pain on treatment for pancreatic cancer

Posted by valerina30 @valerina30, Sep 7 9:42am

Every morning I wake up with horrible stomach pains. I don’t know if it’s because I’m laying down all nite or what. Anyone else go thru this

That is helpful to know. It doesn’t happen every day for me. But about once a week it wakes me up. My stomach definitely hurts more in the morning,, enough so that I don’t eat for a couple of hours. Not treating any more.

Did they check you for pancreas cancer?????????

Go to your doctor. They need to examine you, likely get some labs and imaging. Don't be your own diagnostician.

It’s gotten better. Think the rasonque is working. I still get it mild sometimes, stool softener helped to

Hello
I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was dealing with the same pain. Mine was most of the time I was in pain. My palliative care doctor figured out it was gas pain. He switched some medicine around and it helped a lot! I still have some pain but it's a lot better. I don't have all the gas, from the chemo, that I used to have.
Good luck on your journey
