Statins and Neuropathy Questions
I have been reading some of the discussions on the statins and neuropathy.
I’ve had neuropathy for years, but it has gotten a whole lot worse since I’ve been on 20 mg rosuvastatin over the last few years. The doctor added 10 mg ezetinibe
Any success with any alternatives? We have followed the Mediterranean diet over the last couple years and I have always been very active, but had two stents put in..
Any recommendations ?

1 ReactionI’ve taken 20 mg rosuvastatin for 15 years. Has had NO impact on worsening my PN. I’m struggling to understand a biological mechanism for any statin to negatively impact your PN.
You say you had stents put in? What did your cardiologist say was the root cause of your ASCVD? If they are just blaming LDL levels, they are likely missing other causal factors such as insulin resistance, and or hyperinsulinemia.
