You may not have any of the listed Possible side effects. I didn't and I had great outcomes. Not Knowing can be stressful. Do you meditate? It may help you to manage your internal dialogue. That is often the thing that sends us tumbling into anxiety. The Buddhists call it monkey mind . The endless chatter that has nothing to do with staying present with what is before us rather than the story that we create. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

4 ReactionsI had my first injection 1 week ago. I was very scared, still am. The first few day was okay, just a slight headache and a little aching but Tylenol took care of it. Then day 7 hit and a lot of the side affects I have now, but I'm very drug sensitive so it could just be me. Some people have no problem. I hope each month get easier. I need spine surgery asap and the doctor said he cant do it until I'm on this for 3 months. Please keep posting how your doing and how you handle the side affects.
Thank you for your input.I keep reminding myself that it could always be worse. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

1 ReactionMost of my symptoms were similar to menopausal symptoms. Now this could be me revisiting menopause again at the age of 66. 😜 I was terrified at first and I’m on my third dose. I’m doing soft weight lifting two - three times a week, along with a little cardio. Taking calcium and vitamin D3 supplements.
I completed my one year of treatment on 4/10/26. Side effects were mild: joint pain that was worse around 4 months in and that gradually improved. I also gained about 5 lbs during the first six months that gradually went away during the last six months.
I had some mild discomfort after the first injection, similar to the reaction I had to my second shingles vaccine shot.
I had significant improvement in my lumbar spine (30% improvement) so it was definitely worth it for me.
I've been on alendronate, Tymlos, teraparatide, and Evenity. I had the fewest side effects on alendronate, followed by Evenity, Tymlos, and teraparatide (which I had to stop taking).
I liked that it was a monthly injection and not something I had to take weekly or daily.

Have you noticed any change in you blood work since taking Evinity? And do you have to have any boosters after the Evinity?
@jmc50
Don't forget that you will need to follow evenity with another drug to lock in the gains and to stop any loss.
@gravity3
I’m talking about blood not bone. Any difference in your routine blood work from Evinity?
@jmc50 No change in bloodwork. I’m getting an infusion of Reclast next week.
