It is a tough time for sure, so that member can support you better can you answer a few questions? Is it your diagnosis or your mom’s diagnosis? No further treatment or a choice of recommended treatments.

Thanks for clarifying. Surely at 83 radiation is a big decision. I can only tell you my experience with myself and family members was positive. If this was my mom, I would go and hear what they recommend. Then I would try to help my mom make the best decision for her, based on her current health, and her doctors answers.
How does your mom feel about this?

I had same situation at 75 (‘now 78) I had 5 days of radiation and have been taking the AI anastrozole for 2 1/2 years. I had few problems with either despite my age and a myriad of other health problems.
Talk to her doctors and decide about the radiation based on what they want to do. With the AI she can always see how she does; she may be lucky and have no problems… if she decides they reduce her quality of life then she can stop them . But give them a chance..Anyway just my thoughts based on my experience.
