Stage 2 EGFR and worried

I have stage 2 EGFR exon 19 with TP53 and other co mutations, I had a LUL on 12/2025 with 4 rounds of chemo cispl/pen and now on Tagrisso x 2 mos, I’ve experienced itchy skin and upper abdominal pain, Will this cancer more than likely reoccur and has anyone experienced these side effects. I also tested positive for HPylori and will start antibiotics. Has anyone taken these antibiotics while on Tagrisso or chemo?

hi @amareese - sorry to hear you're having uncomfortable side effects + H.Pylori. I've take doxycyline monohydrate a few times while on Tagrisso. all was fine - but I definitely needed a probiotic along with it. as far as the itchy skin, what has helped me is moisturizing in the shower - either with something like a gentle sugar scrub or hair conditioner. then, after drying off applying a creamy lotion first - followed by almond oil. lotion on its own (even applied multiple times) just wasn't adequate to stop the dryness/itching.
