Stage 1, very treatable invasive lobular carcinoma
I just talked to my surgeon, and now have to make the decision of a lumpectomy or a mastectomy. My cancer is in my right breast only, and a small tumor, at stage one. I feel very lucky that my cancer was caught early. I am so torn between the opinions. I guess I need to hear other peoples stories. I know it is my decision alone . Thank you for anyone that can share.

Hello everyone,
I was diagnosed with LBC 2 year ago and have been on Anastrozole since & am experiencing some side effects!.
What I am curious about is that in my lumpectomy report it stated that I have
0- E Cadherin which apparently is a protein whereby absence of this protein causes LBC and many other cancers including metastasis. I actually found quite a lot about this from the Mayo clinic digest articles.
I’m very interested to know if you have been diagnosed with LBC which also states lack of E Cadherin?
Thank & keep staying positive😊
Does anyone have positive results with Anastrolzole with no side effects?
Started in April of this year. I’ve had a few hot flashes, but no real side effects and hopefully will not have any.
